Speed  crucial for any kind of a website. Its an SEO ranking factor.

Many factors affect the speed of a given page including quantity and type of content, distance the data travels, connection type, device, operating system, and browser

According to Kissmetrics, loading time is a major contributing factor to page abandonment. The average user has no patience for a page that takes too long to load, and justifiably so. 

That’s crazy, right? Research shows that;

  • 73% of mobile internet users say that they’ve encountered a website that was too slow to load.
  • 51% say that they’ve encountered a website that crashed, froze, or received an error.
  • 48% say that they’ve encountered a website that had formatting which made it difficult to read.
  • 45% say that they’ve encountered a website that didn’t function as expected.
  • 38% say that they’ve encountered a website that wasn’t available.
